Default Thinking about painting on the jeep some!

I've been thinking lately about painting on my jeep some. The rockers and bottom parts of the doors and the rear quarter panels have some surface rust. It's not exactly bad but it doesn't look the best. Is there anyway you can repair surface rust and actually make it look decent? I guess i'm just gonna bondo it and sand it down real good and smooth it out and i'm wanting to use spray-on bedliner i've seen it done and it looks pretty good(it'll be black). How do you think it'll look? I'm wanting to paint from the blue line down on both sides. don't mind my mad tite paint skillz

try ta hammer as much out as possiable for the dents and then use some primer that builds and prevents rust. then definitly paint it with the bedliner spray, it looks awesome and tough

Also, if someone could just photoshop the area below the blue line black that'd be cool so I could get an idea of how its gonna turn out

i have photo shop on my other computer. but you can look at my build to see what mine looks like for the liner. But trust me, itll look awesome. you can also look at the jeep build War Machine, its my friends MJ but it was white. I told him to do the bottom black liner and his turned out sweet to.

for surface rust, you usually can sand it off. you need to sand wherever you are painting first anyways so the paint will stick.

Sand it down and use some rust-bullet or 415 before painting it, that will prevent further rust problems in that area.
