Hey, I'm having a hard time finding my temp sender for the gauge. According to all the information I can find, on my '93 XJ with the 4.0, it should be on the back behind the manifold by the firewall. I've found the wire that hooks to it, hanging loose, but I can't seem to find the sender itself. I was told when I bought it that it had had a rebuilt engine put in it, did some variants of that not have the sender? If you've got a picture of where it is, or a camera, could you post up a picture showing where it is clearly?

hmm, I JUST bought one of these. If no one has replied by the time I get home from work tonight, I'll try to post pics of the location and the part itself for you

ah-ha! I see it now, it's quite obvious there in front of the last head bolt, I wasn't noticing it before because the connector is completely snapped off, it looks like a simple bolt sticking out.
Now I wonder how easy it's going to be to remove... That also dashed my hopes of just plugging it back in and having it work, but I see my temp gauge working in the near future.
