Taurus fan questions
I am looking into electric fan(s) for an upgrade for 96 XJ 4.0
So, a Taurus 3 wire fan ( Ford #8C607) is a 2 speed fan.? I can control the speeds indiviually either manually or with a controller.? I can use the Taurus as a stand alone fan and eliminate the aux fan.? The Taurus fan is an almost drop in fit.? Thats it for starters, this is another option I am looking at. Price is high, but it is high quality might be worth while. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JEEP-...Q5fAccessories |
not really a drop in fit. some trimming is required. check the link i posted in your other thread. just make sure you wire it up correctly using relays.
and i would try to keep the aux fan for extra cooling if you have a/c and tend to use it on the trails. |
