Intermittent trouble starting
I do not know if it is related - but recently (last month) we had some trouble with our starter and the shop 'rebuilt' it. They also replaced the related power cables. It has worked fine for 2-3 weeks.
A couple days ago the Jeep hesitated starting once - but then started fine. Today the Jeep simply would not start. All the dash lights light fine but not even the hint of something turning over. We called for a tow and I grabbed a cab to get our other car. Then my wife called to say it finally started and we cancelled the tow.
We drove it to the shop and they could not reproduce the problem.
The battery is less than 2 years old.
Any thoughts appreciated.

If it's an auto trans the next time try wiggling the shifter while turning the key or put it in neutral and try it. Do your back up lights work?
