Default few questions

Okay so my 00xj I went to go pick it up today. And its dead again yesterday it ran fine. Now today it ls running rough. What can be causing it to run fine then not want to start and turn over hard run rough and die at 3k Rpms? I'm thinking the the CPs? I don't know I miss my Jeep!);

And can you run a Jeep without sway bars?

not sure about your first question but it could be the cps,, yes u can run it without sway bars. most people take their rears off when they lift it or even stock, if its your daily i dont reccomend taking your front off unless just for offroading, in that case look at JKS quick disconnects. on my jeep i have my rear off and my front setup with JJKS quick discos.i leave the front sway disconnected alot because i like driving it that way and like getting it on 3 wheels around turns lol

Default Need history

Picked it up? From where? Was it in the shop or did you just obtain it from the PO? Is there history of starting/running problems? From your description it sounds like CPS but without history of rework it's just another shot in the dark...

X3 on the cps, id keep the front sway bar connected, the rear is worthless anyway but its borderline unsafe without the front!

It's my XJ and It's got a 170k on it and has never had to be towed untill this happened. I've never had to put any money in it. Except for lug nuts Because were starting to get ugly so i bought chrome ones. And a battery. That's it. I Do my oil every 2500 to be safe I used high mileage synthetic. Etc Etc Sometimes it runs fine and other times it just wants to die. or does die, Also no lights are comming on in the Gauge cluster.
