i did some research i wanna run e fans all i gotta do is unbolt the clutch fan and put the 2 new e fans on run a switch into the cab and im done ?

.....and keep one eye glued to the gauge so u don't forget to turn the fans on/off and hope the gauge does't fail/become inaccurate.

.......and hope the efans pull at least as much air/cfm as stock.

lol it isn't really that simple, unless you buy the fans made for an xj.

i was wondering about this too. can't you wire it to the temp sensor so it turns on and off via the cpu? there has to be a way where you can like set it and forget it.lol.

Yeah but they did not figure on a second electric fan running on the same circuit.
So what I would like to know is can I splice into the temp sensor for an aftermarket fan without blowing a fuse.

Did you click on the dinos dual electric fan link towards the bottom? That describes how he successfully installed a dual puller system.

i will be getting a fan soon. i allready have the wirring,fuse and relay. i hope to be doing this mod soon.

Judging by your pics in "what temp is your jeep running" thread, u have some serious cooling system issues that need to be addressed before efans.

While the t-stat cover and water pump are both off, stick a garden hose in the t-stat hole and flush the head/block very good. After all is done, check the color of the new coolant often.....it'll probably start turning rusty again, quickly. Flush again, re-fill with new and check coolant color/level frequently.
