ok, so my Xj is missing everything t-case shifter related except the handle itself. i have been thinking about fabbing up my own setup. i pulled the stock handle out of the floor and discovered that the selector on the t-case is almost directly under it. i am thinking about just making a piece to bolt to the t-case selector and run straight up through the hole in the floor. i am concerned about the possibility of the weight of the handle itself moving the selector. i am thinking about making the piece that bolts to the selector steel and the handle itself aluminum to keep the weight of it down.

anyone think this would work?
