sye woes

hey i just joined here cuz i recently lifted my 92 xj 3.5 inches and i plan to go at least an inch higher. my question is if i can use a stock front driveshaft with a hack n tap sye b/c my brothers friend said it wouldn't be long enough. i also having trouble finding a way that i can do it in my budget of $120 at ideas?

Yes you can. That is the reason the Hack-N-Tap exists in the first place. It was created as a cheap and easy way to run the STOCK front drive shaft and its Double Cardin joint as the rear shaft. Your brothers friend is an idiot. Measuring is a good idea, but any front shaft from an auto trany donor should work.

Measuring allows you to include ZJ's in the donor list

Another 80 bucks will get you the easier sye to install from Advance adaptors and get a front shaft from a j/y.
I'm really not sure what you can do with $120 But I'm sure somebody else here might.
