Default sye question

if when i lift my xj, i put in a SYE and change out the driveshaft, will i still have to use a t-case drop? im just trying to skip that, since i will most likely have to go to the sye eventually anyway.

no drop is needed if you put in a SYE.

no. if you get an sye/ds you wont need the drop. some do an sye and eventually shim the rear axle.

Yeah, a drop kit is just a band-aid fix for until you can afford a SYE. You won't need both. I'm still saving for my SYE. You will need to shim your rear axle with the TC drop or SYE. Just something you have to do when you lift a rig.
