Swapping the Trans
 

I'm planning on replacing my transmission with the trans out of my 88 wagoneer donor jeep. I'm putting it in my 94 cherokee. When reading the haines manual it tells me i have to make marks on the torque converter and drive plate to make them line up on the install. If I'm installing a trans from a different car how would this be achieved?

The bolts are offset it just makes it easier to reinstall so in your case you'll just have to rotate it until the bolt holes all line up.
