swap out rear hatch on pre 94 xj
Have a wrecked jeep that needs a rear hatch replaced from another wreck pre 1994. Not sure exact year. Any one have tips for process of removal and replacement?

I believe the two hatch styles are from 1984-1996 (fiberglass hatch with external hinges) and 1997-2001 (Metal hatch with internal hinges).

The wiring harness between the body and hatch are the biggest hassles. The rest is nuts and bolts .
