NSS problem?
Hey everyone,I noticed my backup lights weren't coming on in reverse,so I changed to bulbs, check the fuse, which I couldn't find, and I changed my NSS. Still no backup lights in reverse. I've read that you can adjust it,I tried that when my jeep was in reverse with the parking brake on,but still no lights! If anyone has had this same problem, could you help a fellow jeeper out and tell me what you did to fix it or maybe I'm missing something??? Thanks!

For starters, check the wiring from the bulb connector up to make sure it isn't fried somewhere along the way. Just to rule out that possibility

Well still somewhat unclear. Here at the bottom it shows a diagram referring to the "neutral" line on the housing....

OK, I guess they "gotm' surrounded" in this one...Here he actually checks all the functions with a meter before even plugging it back in.

My issues with "tail lights" has usually been a ground. Running a long wire directly from battery negative and touching it on (any) suspected bad ground can be enlightening. (like the metal of the bulb its self)
