Surco roof rack question?

Exclamation Surco roof rack question?
I found a Surco roof rack locally, at a great price but it is the S5060 (50" wide) and online it says that a cherokee needs a 45" wide.
Is this true, or can a 50" wide Surco fit a cherokee also?

Hmm I dunno if it will or not..Might mount to the gutters but not the factory rack rails..

If you are going to be able to mount it you will need to do it via gutter mounts, but I am unsure if it will fit.

can you take yor jeep to where it is being sold and just lay it on top? Thats what i would do

It can be made to fit but you may need to fab up the mounts or use the aforementioned gutter mounts. The rack is aluminum so can be narrowed as well.
