Super Stiff
So here's the deal. I just picked up a really clean 99 4 door with a 4.0, 231 and an AX-15. It's got a d35 but, it is what it is. The issue I'm having is that the clutch pedal is ridiculously stiff and it's hard to get the tranny to shift into gears. The PO just installed a brand new slave about a month ago and the master cylinder is full. There are no leaks, whatsoever. I am assuming that it just needs bled since the clutch isn't slipping or chattering at all but, I can't seem to get a straight answer on how to bleed it. My experience with manuals has always been to bleed them like brakes but, a guy at work was just telling me that I need to unbolt the slave and push the plunger in and out a bunch of times while someone keeps the MC topped off with fluid. Is there any truth to this??
