Default Successful 2" Lift (non shackle, block, AAL)

I was wondering if it would be good to use maybe 1.75" - 2.25" coil spring spacers in the front with a 2" leaf pack in the rear if such a thing? (because shackles, blocks and AAL are all junk) Also i heard you can use grand cherokee springs and leaf packs on an XJ is this true? And could it clear 31's?

Thanks

I know that with the 2" lift you are required to do a little bit of trimming to fit 31's but i cant answer any of your other questions. Sorry....LATE!!

Grand Cherokees run coils in the rear, not leaf springs. If you want a good 2" leaf pack, check out old man emu. They have a variety of spring rates to choose from and you net around 2-3" out of them. You could also get another pair of cherokee leaf springs and add some to your existing pack for whatever height you are aiming for. On the newer model xj, you need at least 3-4" of lift to clear 31" tires. I ran 31's with the 2" old man emu kit and they rubbed everwhere, even on the street. I'm now at 3.5 and still rubbing just a little (2001 cherokee). I would highly recommend 30's with a 2" lift.

Just go with 3" of lift...You will be happpier and 31's will fit better...When you go 2" you will want more.. A good say RC 3" kit you will get new springs all the way around and shocks..Just my opinion anyways..

If you are set on a 2" lift either run a bastard pack or OME 2" packs in the rear and some v8 ZJ coils in the front with a small spacer to level it out, or OME 2" coils in the front.

Teraflex also makes a nice spacer/shackle 2" lift that would work out nice as well...Also I will have a 2" budget lift up for sale soon..Will be a rear shackle and front bushing with shocks....I can also provide a 1/2" rear steel block just in case the rear needs leveling.. I promise it'll be way cheaper then buying the parts and the parts will have less then 2000 miles on them... Blew the motor right after I installed them and now I am getting a new lift so...

I think he wants to stand clear of shackles and blocks. If you do decide to sell the parts separately, i'll be interested in the shackles.

I would like to be considered too when you sell those shackles. So seconds if mudd backs out.
