subs
im wanting to get subs for the back of my 98 cherokee classic but i dont want them big maybe like 1 12 inch sub but does anyone know how to wire them up and any good subwoofer brand....
|
I would recommend kenwood. I got two 12in and they sound really good. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...KFC-W3011.html. Pretty easy to hook up. Just run power, hook up a ground, and wire the sub to the amp.

You need an Amp, a good one that wont fry a brand new sub, Rockford Fostgate is the best sub maker IMO, don't buy Sony amps.
You will need a crossover, but good Amps will have a built in crossover. |
dont waste ur money on all that high dollar stuff. if you just want sum slam keep it cheap unless you plann on entering comps and stuff. i have 2 bazooka 10's in a homemade ported box on a 300 watt jl audio four chanel amp. i also have two 6 by 9s and the two ceiling speakers all running off the same amp as the 10s they hit just as hard as anything in the school parkin lot and im only in about 150 bucks

thanks its just im wanting some beat and explain about the watts and stuff about them
|
I've got dual 10in kickers, hit very hard. Got a kicker amp to, works real good.

how many watts needed to push your subs depends on the sub itself it should say on the sub how many watts you should need. where are you from?? if your from anywheres around here i could show you how to hook everything up its real simple
