Default STUPID First Question / Post

Sorry for the rediculous question guys, but I've not been able to find an answer in my searches...

Just picked up a '99 XJ with power windows/locks, and what I have noticed is that as soon as I turn the ignition key ON, the little indicator lights on the door switches light up. I would expect this when I turn on the lights, but not with just the ignition key? So the question is, is this normal or is my door switch wiring suspect? Thanks for any help!

It does come on on my 98 XJ too and I have never had a problem in the five years that I have owned it.

Thanks for the replies. I'll cross it off the to-do list!
