stock control arms on 3.5" lift ????
 

Has anyone done a 3.5" lift and kept the stock control arms on it? Any pics. What are the pros and cons of doing this. All Ive really heard is the ride quality is worse but not bad. And are stock control arms really good up to 4" like http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/...udget_Lift.htm
says? It's for my 98 XJ that is my Daily Driver. Let me know the success stories and the horror stories before I make a good or terrible mistake by doing this. And yes, I am trying to keep my cost down but don't want to build a crappy lift. Thanks Guys

Some companies advertise 3.5" lift, but when installed it is over 4", others advertise 3.5" and installed it is under 3".
Hundreds of XJ's are running around on 3.5" of lift with stock control arms and stock track bar.
Having said that, I would not run such a combination.

I'm at 2.5" lift and have run all stock parts, and am now running adjustable upper/lower control arms and adj. trackbar. With the adjustable bits, the alignment could be dialed in, and the rig is much more enjoyable on the road.
