Default Stock 99 xj rear shock top mount

So my rear shock mount broke. Not the bolts the actual mount to hold the shock. Can anybody tell me where to buy one and a picture of a stock one. Its the rear one on the passanger side. Thanks

I do not follow, part of the shock broke or part of the chassis broke? Can you post a picture..

The rear lower or top?

I just replaced both due to the retarded previous owner(s).







If you mean the sheet metal at the top of the rear well that can't be replaced without cutting and welding. If you mean the bottom you can buy a shock mount online or one from Autozone in the Help! section but it requires drilling, grinding, etc. But pretty easy to replace.

Yeah man, I don't know how people with some of the rust I see on this site. I have worked on a few cars that came from up north, what a nightmare.

Those two bolts are the ones that can snap off. Be careful when removing and use some penetrating lube before you try to wrench them out.

There is not rust there they will come out just fine. Mine looked worse than that and they came off without oil.

Yeah mine has very very little rust and the previous owner snapped them off trying to remove them and just left them that way, which is why I had to punch them out and use new bolts. PB blaster and lots of it.
