I got you. I saw the link in your signature and did some small research with the little time I had before getting ready for work. I am looking to removing the amp to begin with so when I get home I will take some pictures and see what people think is safe to remove. I just want to get the OEM system running but I have never seen what it looks like, so I cannot compare the difference. I'm willing to have no sound if that will make things work better/normally though I guess...
From what I did see, there is this "kicker" brand connection to the battery which leads to the dash and probably somewhere to the stereo system I'm guessing. In the back of the car there is the subwoofer (taking up 70% of the cargo space ) with its own wiring system. I will take a look at it myself again though I will probably need help since I am not 100% sure what isn't factory. Any tips going in would be appreciated!

You will have 1 wire going from the battery to the amp directly, that kicker thingy sounds like a fuseholder
It does sound like a bad ground, check the ground strap going from the firewall of the engine to the rear of the cylinder head. Buy some Emory cloth and some QD electronics cleaner and start cleaning all electrical connections.
You could convince someone in your jeep club to swap clusters to test (or get one from the junkyard)

Since you are wanting to remove the childish ridiculousness, life just got easier. Start by removing the fuse near the battery, then you can just trace things along from the rear forward, removing junk as you go.
Post some pics if you get stuck, or if you come to a place where you aren't sure about removing something.

Hey guys,
I noticed the temperature on my XJ is a lot hotter than it should be for a stock XJ. On start up my temperatures shoot up to 210 and after driving on the highway or around town for a bit they peak around 240 (right before the red). Currently I am in Baltimore where the temperature is avging in the 80s. I drove it down from NY a few days ago with no major issues though the problem did exist at that point in time. I have had it for about a week and have not overheated since purchasing it.
Does anyone have any ideas where I can start looking? I am fairly new to this, so I am looking up information and stuff as I go. Just created a thread to get proactive about the situation. I have only owned the car for about a week.
I will add pictures of the gauge and engine bay once I get out of work.
Edit- Pictures
Temperature of XJ at the first start
Temperature of the engine after running the engine for 10 minutes.
The temperature of the XJ as I drive highway/local for however long.
Engine Bay of my XJ
Thank you

I really think you have a gauge problem...I've never seen the oil pressure that high both on starting from a cold engine to running at highway speeds...makes me think your gauge cl uh sterling may be faulty and your temps probably not even close to being that high...try checking the temp with an infra red temp sensor...I think you can get one at home depot...check the temp at the thermostat housing and the upper radiator hose...should be at 210...I'd try that first...both the temp and the oil pressure gages are reading way too high a value!!!
