First off - I'd like to start off with saying that I don't plan on towing anything. Ever.

I got a free hitch mount bike rack and snowboard/ski rack, but I don't want to spend a ton of money on a receiver just for that.
Has anyone mounted one of these on their XJ?

If so, can anyone offer advice on mounting this thing and if there are any things to look out for? Any advice would be appreciated.

 

Not a good idea! I wouldn't trust putting any kind of weight on the bumper they are not very sturdy.

 

just get a normal mounted hitch receiver for 120

 

this.... or just sell the rack you got and put skis/bikes on the roof
