Steering wheel vibrates an grinds

Hello all I went to go to the store the other day an when I started driving my steering wheel was vibrating quite a bit an I also noticed a dull grinding sound as well coming from (what I believe) the front mid section of the vehicle, it becomes more pronounced when braking. Now I have just checked my brakes an their good, also I let off the throttle an the noise and vibration are still present, so what else should I be looking at? Also I have noticed that the noise an vibrations go down quite a bit when turning, any help wwould be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Could be your wheel hub is toast.

See that's what I thought at first too, but I jacked her up an spun the wheel by hand slowly, then quickly an there was no noise whatsoever I also did this with the wheel off as well, (I did this in a very quite environment so I could hear anything) also, correct me if I'm wrong, but with a bad wheel bearing doesn't the grinding and such decrease when the brakes are applied, not increase?
