Steering Wheel Removal
When i bought my jeep the air bag had deployed. I want to put a new steering wheel or pull another one from JY
How do i remove the different kinds of steering wheels. I've seen just jeep 3 spoke but i have 96 country with cruise control controls at the bottom and horn on left and right.

There are a couple nuts on the back of the steering wheel spokes that hole the airbag on. Once the airbag module is out of the way you will see the nut in the center of the wheel, remove the nut and use a puller to remove the wheel from the tapered spined shaft. But if this a street driven vehicle, you must replace the airbag, it's a fedral supplimental restraint issue.

what he said.I can't remember the horn wiring, but the factory cruise control wiring is pretty cheesy, almost looks like an add on. The wiring looked like home telephone gauge wiring. You shouldnt have a problem seeing it once you take the airbag out.
