Steering wheel cock-eyed. Clockspring??
When I got this 97 it had a 3" RC lift and the steering wheel wasn't straight, it sat a little counter clockwise of right. It has steadily gotten worse to the point of being nearly 90° off. I would say that rather than level (9 and 3) it's more like 7 and 1. After reading a little about clocksprings I remembered that the air bag light was always on and the horn never worked, which are symptoms of a bad clockspring. So, if I go to put in a new one, what problem will I have because of the wheel being rotated? I understand the wheels must be pointed dead ahead when putting the new clockspring in, but will this fix the steering wheel issue too or will it still be jacked?
I agree with the professional alignment suggestion.
The steering wheel should not continually get more out of line over time. Unless something is loosening or going bad it should stay where the adjuster sleeve has it set. Naturally it'll be off after a lift, but to keep getting worse concerns me.

I had the same problem-kinda-steering wheel not straight after I got it aligned, twice.
I needed to install a clockspring,so while it was all apart,I reinstalled the wheel straight.

X2, this then they will set it straight
Well here's the thing...it tracks perfectly straight down the road. No wobbles, no pull to either side. Tires wear evenly. It doesn't act like it needs an alignment at all. Just the steering wheel. Weirdest thing I've ever seen.
