Hey guys. I got another question. So when I bought my jeep I noticed that the steering wheel is actually upside down. Literally. Kinda uncomfortable to drive. Horn and cruise both work but the buttons are upside down and in an awkward position. First of all I wanna know why the fudge the last owner put the steering wheel on upside down.
Anyway so I decided to try fixing it. Again like the seat, resulted in failure. Basically I took the 2 screws out of the back and removed the airbag (left it plugged in just moved it down slightl to rest on the wheel) and then realized I didn't have a steering wheel puller so I just said screw it and put it back together.
Now my airbag light is on! Why? I doubt It would be the clock spring from what I did

Sounds like with the weight of the airbag hanging on the tiny wires you may have broken one of them. This you would not see since it is broken inside the vinyl coating on the wire itself. In the future, remove the airbag fuses and wait 10 minutes then just unplug the airbag.

So what do I do? Remove the coating And sautter (idk how to spell it) the broken part back together than re wrap it? Or is there an easier way
It's a safe bet that he steering is screwed p and that's why you're steering wheel is upside down. IIRC, the shaft is keyed so the wheel only goes on one way.
Soldering the connector/wire?
I'd strongly recommend replacing the airbag.
