Default Steering lock bar recommendation

hey,

were going on a 3200 mile trip soon and the jeep will be parked at a new place every night for 2 weeks, this jeep doesnt have an alarm but wanted a bit more security in a way and thought about a steering lock bar that would work good on a jeep.

do any of you have suggestions ?

thanks,

-Marc

Lock bar is good for visual deterrence, I would install a hidden kill switch or an alarm if you are worried about someone taking your rig though.

Agreed on the visual deterrence. Get The Club for visual and then pull a couple of connectors every night. Coil wire is easy to get to unless you know where it is. Take the rotor out. Pull the ASD relay. pull the fuel pump relay, etc.

Just pull the plug that goes between the coil and distributor, no one can steal it then.

thanks a lot those are all very good points some i didnt think of, removing of the relay and coil pack cable are very good. i guess quality of a steering bar isnt that much of a matter i will probably go for one around 20$.
