Default Starter replacement = left speaker not working

Hello, I have a 2002 Laredo. I needed to get the starter replaced and once I turned it on it seemed like something was off with the audio. after some tests, it appears my passenger side dash speaker is not working.

Any validation that this could be related? do I need to replace the speaker? or is it a connection issue?

thanks a million forum friends!!

I would say that maybe when you put in the starter, you accidently created a separate wire issue with that speaker wire. I would double & triple check all wires In the vicinity of.

hard to connect the starter with this if noone got into the dash ?
i always check what i might do like turn the balance to the right and miss it!!
could unhooking the batt upset the radio settings?

so you gotta get at the speaker to check it.

good luck.

Unrelated and coincidental issues. Jeep is old, things break

I installed remote start 2 years ago, and when I drove it the first time after that I had a short in my tailgate wiring. Pure coincidence.
