starter keeps engaging
 

So I'm having this problem in my 98 xj. The starter will just keep engaging. No reason for it, it just does. Any ideas on what it could be?

Bad ignition switch or bad starter solenoid.

Well that could be it, but now it seems like it kicks out when I close the drivers door. Like the button for the dome lights

loose wires then ?... sounds like you have a few problems...

Well looks like I get to go play in the mess of wires in a snow storm Haha. Thanks anyway guys.
