Stalling when accelerating after a stop?
I have a 1987 Jeep XJ. I haven't had a stalling issue since we reconnected a loose vacuum hose a few months ago, until yesterday. It only did it once, and I guess it was probably human error, but I just wanna make sure so I don't have to deal with it too often again.
I had a guy riding my *** going down a road and I had to stop on a hill. He was in an SUV and had stopped so close I couldn't see his headlights. Its old enough to where if you let off the brake, it'll roll backwards a bit. In an effort to combat being reverse rear-ended, I pumped the gas a little hard while waiting on the guy in the opposing lane to get past me, and my jeep cut off.
Reason? Suggestions?
