My "97 XJ is a SPORT,what does that consist of???Just curious.

 

It is a trim level designation and could have many of the options added or deleted to the buyers request. My wifes 01' sport has power everything except seats, but I have seen sport models with no power options at all.

 

My old 1995 2wd sport had no mirrors and lights in the visors had power mirrors power everything except seats. my 1995 4x4 sport has power everything except seats no power mirrors but has mirrors and lights in the visors. Oh and the 2wd had folding mirrors and my 4x4 has fixed mirrors...very weird

 

My 97 Sport has power windows, doorlocks, mirrors, and lighted mirrored visors. No power seats though, thankfully.

 

My 96 Sport has no power anything. No power locks, windows, mirror, seats...nothing. Kinda sucks. I know I could put some of that stuff in, but I have other things I wanna spend my money on.

 

Mostly a decal and some upgraded trim over the base.

I think in some years, the Sport was the base model.

 

that's really odd....my 90 sport i had years ago had no power options whatsoever. still had the 4.0, and it was 2WD.
