Spark, Fuel, Air, and No start
I have a 89 Cherokee 4.0 I just picked up, cranks over no problem but no start. I have verifified spark. Fuel pressure builds 40psi. It won't fire on starting fluid. I have replaced the crank position sensor, and coil. Cleaned all the plugs and cap. Put the engine on tdc and verified that the distributor was placed correctly on #1. Is there another sensor that would cause this to not run or fire what so ever? Person I picked it up from said they drove it onto the trailer, and trailered it 150 miles then it wouldn't run. If I'm correct the cam position sensor is not in the distributor like later models where you can set it? If the timing is in the computer, could the computer be dead? Any help would be great! Thank you.

And, correct, the sensor in the dizzy has nothing to do with spark. What color is your spark?
You replaced just the coil or the whole ignition control module?
