Sorry posted in the grand cherokee tech side. I have an XJ. When it gets to the top of the gear its in before it upshifts it sounds like a 2 stroke motor bike. Probably some kind of vibration rattle or some thing. I think it is the transfer case chain?? the transfer case fluid was low and I filled it up thinking it would fix the noise but no luck. Any suggestions? How often do you have to replace the t case chain? How much? Could I do it myself? Thanks for any input.
