Default Some MORE pics and MOREEE questions..

Overview:

What is that the vacuum line is connected to? If its a sensor, what are the symptoms that it is bad? What the vacuum is for anyways?

Chasing the line:

See that 'connector?' with 'MPC' written on it, what is it for? Does it have to be connected to something? It is just having fun in the engine bay right now, or maybe not.. Should it be connected to something, what is it for? Oh, and when the jeep is started, I can feel it sticking to my finger.

What exactly this EVAP Canister is for?

Overview, AGAIN!

Chasing the line coming out of the firewall:

And going into this HUGE mess of wiring, what could it be for?

and now its time for some more questions:

#1 - Why is the my Jeep never starts on the first crank, no matter how long you keep it cranking, it just never fires up. It does fire up at the second or third crank if I wait for the CHECK ENGINE light to go off.

And If I don't wait for the CHECK ENGINE light to go off, it always starts on the second crank / try, but no matter if I wait for the CE light or not, when it starts, it always behaves like it doesn't have enough petrol going in or soft 'missing' and if I step on the gas, it goes off.. What could this be? But if i leave it missing and rough idling for like 5 to 15 seconds, it gets smoother and eventually fine.. then the idle is smooth, it smoothly accelerates and so so so...

#2 - The brake pedal feel is annoying, it is sluggish! It is a bit hard, I mean, like for example our honda civic, the brake pedal is soft and smooth and 'fast' enough, in the Jeep it isn't like that, it is sluggish, comes back slowly, a bit on the harder side, what could be the reason for this? What should I check? And oh, ABS light is on btw, and it doesn't work.. all four wheels lockup when braked hard.

EDIT:

#3: Should I buy this:

http://thejeep.com/shop/HOT+SELLERS/...Jeep+Cher.html

OR

Both the Haynes and Chilton manuals??

umm, I don't think its a fuel pump issue, because, when I got the jeep it used to do that, as in never started on the first crank.. I cleaned the throttle body, the sensors, and when I put it back, it kept on starting on the first crank.. until I got the A/C work done. They opened the throttle body for something, and the starting is back on the track now.. How do we clean the injectors btw?

And what about my question #2 and the pics? :$

I will be sending you a Private Message. There is info that can not be posted on here for copyright reasons.
The answer to number 3 is you need a manual but that is a high price. Check E-bay and you should find one there cheaper. Actually, you can get the 4 volume set for that price.
