smoke from new exhaust manifold gasket

Is it normal to have smoke coming from a new exhaust manifold gasket?

yes. it's oil and other crap burning off. it shouldn't do that more than a few minutes.

ok. thanks. I got nervous when I saw it and shut it off. I'll let it run and burn off.
