So my slave cylinder has a nice little leak coming from it, so now that i have the funds again, i decided maybe i should replace it instead of just continuously adding fluid to the system...
Here's the problem that i encountered... I got a new cylinder from autozone, but the guy wasnt sure if it had everything i needed...
so i got that and then purchased one from NAPA.....
came with all of the same stuff except I noticed one very big difference....
the one from autozone has a bleeder at the top (an allen type bolt that covers a pin sized hole at the top), but the NAPA one is completely sealed.
Now, what i am guessing is that with the autozone one i can just bleed like a normal brake system.... but does anyone know how to do the NAPA style one? (the part itself just seems like it is better quality).
also, both have a retaining type strap on it... i someone told me i should install it with that strap on it so that when i press the clutch for the first time, it just breaks?
input would be awesome, if theres any confusion, ill get poics up tomorrow.. thanks!

EDIT: if it helps.. this is on a 94 5spd xj
