SKIM issues
I have a 2001 Grand Cherokee 4.0 and my check engine light came on. I ran the codes with the on board diagnostic system and it came up with the code P1685 SKIM key invalid. It has been acting weird and I had a feeling that it was the security system somehow. Is there any way that I can fix this without going to a dealer, or do I need to take it to a dealer and get a new key programmed or what? Any help is greatly appreciated.
