Hi guys/gals? newbie here with a 92 Sport Cherokee in Canada. Anyone know the location of the signal wire for my 4.0?

Ooops sorry about that...thanks....trying to hook up the tach signal wire. Tried at the coil, but got no signal. Anyone?

In most cases, Its on the negative side of the coil....

That's the way the aftermarket ones are wired. Never actually looked into the factory ones. I suppose they are the same. It is a direct relationship to how frequently the coil fires. Thus the negative side of the coil gets that number correct or the engine won't fire.
