Shout out to 5 speed & Braytonia
I just wanted to give a huge shout out to 5-speed. I drove my new jeep up 2 hours up to his house last weekend and him and Braytonia helped me diagnose current issues & potential upcoming issues and we even fixed a few issues. Super nice guys with tons of knowledge about xj's. It was well worth the trip up to meet some new friends and get pointed in the right direction.
He even had a set of shocks that he hooked me up with and I just put those on myself and the jeep rides so much smoother.
These guys know their stuff so if you ever have questions they are a wealth of knowledge.
Sorry if this post should go in a different section.

I don't know Britonian... But from what I have observed with 5 speed he is a sharp individual with a good heart. He is "real" as the Bikers I used to hang out with would call it...
Can't wait to meet him myself.

forums *can be a good thing. those of you old enough to remember can recall things like this being very popular in the early-mid 2000s on car forums. i met a lot of nice guys on ls1tech back in the day.

I'm here to help anyone willing to learn, listen and take notes. Making new friends out of it is a plus as well (Especially the ones who bring beer!). I know im not the only one trying to help. There are a lot of other great and knowledgeable people on here who deserve some credit too. This is by far one of the best forums I have been on and its mostly cause of all the great moderators we got running the place.

Ever been a member of a car club or a bike club? lol It's kind of funny because you have all the different personalities, occasional arguments and etc. but there is always a tribal clan brotherhood that makes everyone come running when another member needs help... sometimes...
I judge the comradery of a forum in a similar fashion. Either they back up someone who they think is right in brotherhood or they just sit back and see who gets their butt kicked. This one has both elements and I haven't quite figured it out yet. lol

Yep this forum has turned my xj from a pos that you couldn't drive 20 miles to a vehicle I would drive to Florida and back and I saved over a thousand dollars doing it myself. I try to help people around here but heck the guys on here know way more than me lol. I went from regretting buying my Jeep to spending an hour and a half detailing the interior and driving with a big smile on my face all thanks to the people on this forum.

Heck ya man, once i get some of those other lil things dialed in and it's all good to go we will definitely set something up. Just got that oil pan bracket in the mail, waiting on those trans line connectors and then I'll put that stuff on.
I swapped that ETS out, pretty easy. still getting that little fluttering sound in the morning when it's cold, but things seem to be running smooth overall.
