Default Should I re-gear

I have a 95 XJ with automatic. I'm running 32" tires. Should I spend the money to re-gear?

Are you planning to go taller on the tires? or better yet do you seem underpowered? or go here http://www.accuautoparts.com/calculatorfin.jsp. My opinion if you have to ask go for it.

That is similar to what I did on my 1990. I started with the front D30 and rear D35 out of a 4 banger. Bent 2 axle shafts and then shattered A pinion gear before swapping out the Dana 35 for a ford 8.8, But I didnt get a locked one. I was in a hurry becuse it was my daily driver at the time.

Great upgrade!

Did you take into consideration the larger tire size which means you're going further than what your computer is reading...

If it were me I would re-gear, unless you plan on going bigger soon.

grab a non lsd and get a aussie locker, no what shape the factory lsd is in. With a lsd you would have to get a new carrier

We're really not planning on going bigger. The power loss is noticable, but not terrible. I have a TJ with a 42RLE transmission (30% overdrive). It really needed gears when I went up to 33" tires. I put 4.56 gears in it, but the XJ has an older transmission with a 1:1 ratio. I don't know how to do gears myself, so labor is pricey.

Yes I have taken that onto consideration Im guessing the odometer is counting about 30 miles less per tank than what I was getting when it was stock. Either way its pretty bad. Im gunna go for 4.10:1
