Should I bother?
Just bought a remote for my keyless entry system, havent gotten to try it out yet (when i bought it there were lots of things wrong with it, had to solder on a couple electrical components etc).
Anyway, my question is should I even bother trying to get this system working? I've heard some people say its useless and just a pain. I'd like to have the function of a keyless entry system, but should i consider buying an aftermarket system or keep this one?
I have the infrared system in my 96.
cheers

can't hurt to try. Not having to put a key in the door is a plus to me at whatever distance. It could be a fun challenge to try and aim it perfectly to the receiver. I would enjoy it.
