Default Shocks to stay away from?

I'm getting new shocks, not expensive off road shocks but daily driver shocks, what is recommended? any brand to stay away from?

I'm looking at Gabriel and Monroe, like $20-$30 shocks.

I think you will do fine with Monroe or Gabriel as they both offer OEM replacement shocks.
Typically, you want to stay away from some the "specialty off road" shocks.

I just pulled off my $20 Monroe shocks when I threw my lift on a few weeks ago, i had just replaced them not even a little over a month before, they were bad, never had em offroad either, but they did have a lifetime warranty. Lift came with new shocks so I wasn't worried
