Default shocks

my jeep came with a set of trail master SS2 shocks, well the ride is very bouncy and the front feels very soft. if these are any good ill replace with the same if they are junk ill replace all 4. any suggestions?

sounds like a generic cheapo soft shock, could be worn out too.

that is an awesome deal, wish they had them for stock height applications though

trail master SS2 shocks are not a generic cheapo, they're a rather good shock, just not with a long life. I'd say they rate better than RE's. There by no means the top of the line but are a very good shock.

RE twintube maybe. the ssv is just a slighty-less generic twintube shocks

on the edlebrock site i can only find the Xtreme IAS for the front. do the make rears or are the performers for lifted what i would have to go with.

I called edelbrock about a week ago with the same question. They make the xtremes for the rear but they are not on sale. They are over $100 each regular price so I went with the performer ias all around. I figured $120 for $320-$360 worth of shocks was too good to pass up.

look at some part numbers and check what length you need. i picked up some 8" travel rears
