*Shocked*
my lift is only just over a year old and one spring already went bad, so I change them out and now Im kinda wondering could the shocks be bad too... its kind of a silly question but how would i know if the shocks are bad. and if they are will it hurt my suspension if i drove with them on untill I had the cash to get new ones. I dont plan on doing any offroading with them but I just wanna know if i can go back and fourth to work without jeopardizing the suspension. and I plan on getting a bigger lift (long arm)within the next year or so, what kind do you think i can get that are not too expensive but will last me the year...
what lift is it? If they replaced a spring, see if they will replace the shocks
its the rough country 3 inch w/ 2" shackles and 1.5" spacers
were the shocks even long enough?
they were for a 3" lift. so yea, till i put the spacers on. but they still had a lot of play in them
you may have over extended them
would I see any damage on the shock itself? or is the interiors just f*&^ed up
are they leaking at all?
nope, the only reason i think they're bad is they are relatively easy to push in and pull out
are they the nitro or hydro?
nitro
if they are nitro you would need to just about stand on them to collapse them,so yeah they are bad
