These are the shocks that I have on my XJ. I replaced Rubicon Express Shocks on the front and Rough Country shocks on the rear. The new ones are a much better ride and Travel MUCH further. Here is the link. Mine also came with a bumpstop for each shock that I did not know that I was getting. I had to put them on, but it was still a nice suprize when it came in the mail.

Here is the LINK

"long travel" is a stupid term since its all relative. technically, a longer travel shock that works for the same lift height as a normal shocks (read: 3" shocks and 3" LT shock) is just a shock with a shorter body. for example, a 10" travel rod in an 8" shock body. bilstein 7100s can be had in this configuration.

the OME LTs are a slight variant of this, but not to the degree of the bilsteins.

cheap shocks are cheap shocks. if you dont give a damn about the quality just buy the cheapest shocks you can for a XJ with a 8" lift since thats what youll have.
