Default Shims

Alright guys Im finally lifting my junk so I need some help. Do you guys think I should throw some shims in my rear packs when I install my lift and if so what degree?

The lift will be a 3" RC with a 2" BB on top so around 4.5-5" of lift. The rear will be an AAL added to my OEM that were replaced about 10,000 miles ago along with a 2" extended shackle. I know AAL's suck when it sags I will be doing a bastard pack or get new packs. Im gonna be doing a hack n tap with a stock front shaft before winter.

What do you all think about the shims?

I have a 4.5" lift with 6 degree shims. My personnal thought process on that was just to go ahead and put them in, could only help things. i have a very very slight vib from 40-50 mph. not sure if it would be worse without the shims. but i'll tell you this. i am glad i went ahead and put them in besides learning that i needed them later and had to rip all that stuff back apart.
I say go ahead unless you want to live with some uncomfortable vibes till you install the sye

Yeah I agree with that concept too. So 6* is not too much?
