She won't start!
Well it got me. I have heard of starting problems before. My 93 Cherokee started fine...went a few days wouldn't start. Then went a few weeks starting no problem Now it won't start again. Lots of battery power and she cranks....just won't fire. I've heard and read all kinds of theories...where do I begin!:help:

Need to check spark and fuel. CEL throwing and codes?
|
A shot of starter fluid down the throttle bore.. if it fires right up, look at your fuel system. If not, pull a plug wire and remove the plug. Ground the plug and check for spark as you crank the engine. No spark? Check your ignition system. I'm betting it's either spark or fuel related.

An engine needs 4 things to run: spark, fuel, air, and timing. If it has those in proper quantities, it will run.
Like the other posters said, look closely at fuel and spark. Let's assume for the moment that air and timing are OK. |
Well I'm no great mechanic.LOL..but I'll check what I can thanks!

While your under the hood messin around, and you find you have no spark. You might want to pull the Crank position sensor out and clean it up to.

What kjc said... Starting fluid cuts the guessing in half... Its either fuel or spark problem... Unless u got a shirt shoved in the intake or somethin...
|
More then likely the cps... But cleaning it aint gonna maje a difference...
