Serpentine belt adjustment
What is the correct free play adjustment on the serpentine belt. I have a 1989 Cherokee 4.0 engine with an alternator, A/C and power steering. I have a shop manual, but not the tool that they use to get the adjustment. I usually push down on the belt between the idler pulley and the power steering pump to get my adjustment. Thanks

I have no tools, I do the twist method, If you can turn it past 90' it is too loose, if you cna't turn it too 90' it is too tight... 90' is just right.
