Separate keys for ignition and door locks
Hi everyone,
New 1999 Cherokee owner. Noticed my car has two separate keys one for the ignition and another for all the locks on the car. Would this be because of a swapped out ignition? Is there anyway to match the ignition key with the door locks or visa versa? Any help would be great. Thanks! |
Yes and yes, lol you would have to take your ignition out and bring to a lock smith, or a cyclinder from the door, if it was me, i would put an alarm in and do power locks

Plus kinda reminds me of old school GM cars. Round key for the doors and a square key for the ignition. Well in this case triangle. http://www.napaonline.com/napa/en/p/...01L_0234328391 |
Great thanks guys. Appreciate the help.
