Seems like bad starter but it tested good

OK tested alternator a month and a half ago, new battery. Randomly won't start. When I turn the ignition I just get that click at the solenoid. Took it to O'reilly's and the starter tested good there. Pretty confused as I've charged the battery, so if the battery and starter are good I should be getting something right?

Also, I know I should be searching on forums but this is the newbie way.

:confused1:Check the connectins to the starter with a VOM. Also check the rest of the grounds to the battery. This is a good place to start!

so what all connections do I need to check? a comprehensive list of the grounds and the locations would be super helpful. I'm not real savvy so a detailed descriptions of the connections and how to find them would be greatly appreciated.

would a grody positive terminal cause it to abruptly not start? I changed the negative one a year ago bc it the nut was somewhat stripped. Although having less than clean terminals never seemed to give me problems in the past.

ok it was a simple fix, just had to reclamp the wires at the positive terminal. thanks for the help though.
