94 XJ SE model 2 dr. Driver side front seat slide latch return spring is broken. Scary when you apply the brake only to have the seat break loose and slide to the back.


Does anyone know what spring is needed to repair to as new?

 

Not sure but the 94-96 parts catalog lists a "return spring", part number 35006069.


You may have to try finding one at a junk yard.

 

Or a generic one at a hardware store.
